iOS 5 Coming On September 30th (EXCLUSIVE)

We have been informed by a reliable source that iOS 5 should be available on September 30th at 10 AM PST just the same time as previous update releases.

 

Back in June, iOS 5 was introduced during the WWDC 2011. iOS 5 comes with features as OTA updates, a perfect notifications system, Newsstand, Twitter integration, the Reminder Up, PC-Free feature, the iMessage, Speech-To-Text feature and even more features unveiled in the released betas of iOS 5.

9to5mac earlier this week reported that Apple’s next-generation iPhone will be available in stores starting on Friday, October 7th. The report also included that pre-orders of the iPhone 5 will be available from Friday, September 30th. So the date of iOS 5 release is most likely true as Apple traditionally releases a new update to the public couple of days before the release of new iPhone hardware.

Another iPhone 5 design concept surfaces on the web by Antoine Brieux from NAK Studio which won’t surprise me a lot when it comes this fall. Apple must change the iPhone 5 design to bring a great number of customers as most of people now have an iPhone 4 and it’s very good.

The concept makes the iPhone 5 much simpler than older products as it’s a one body of metal edged off with two pieces of curved glass. Have fun with the gallery below:

As Richard Nixon destroyed happiness with his war on drugs, the 1970’s saw the world’s first personal computers, inspiring five geeks to start a pair of companies which would go on to shape the future of computing as we know it.

In January of 1975 Bill Gates and Paul Allen called up Micro Instrumentation and Telemetry Systems claiming to have a working BASIC interpreter for the MITS Altair 8800 microcomputer. While that claim was entirely fictitious, it took Gates and Allen just two months to create the product they claimed to already have.

With the interpreter working flawlessly, MITS agreed to distribute the software under the name Altair BASIC. Microsoft was officially established just one month later, on April 4th, 1975. After launching their first Disk Operating System (DOS) in 1980 Microsoft quickly began to grow into one of the biggest names in personal computing.

Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne founded their company, Apple, on April 1st 1976, just short of one year after the inception of Microsoft. Unlike Microsoft, who chose to focus on operating systems for other people’s hardware, Apple began their business by selling bare-bones hand-built computer kits, named the Apple I.

After Wayne sold his shares of the company to the Steve’s for just $800, Apple incorporated on January 3rd, 1977. With the backing of Multi-millionaire Mike Markkula, Apple Computers Inc. had the funding it needed to develop the most advanced personal computer to date, the Apple II (launched on April 16th 1977).

With color graphics and an open architecture, the Apple II set the course for personal computing, beginning the battle for dominance of what soon proved to be one of the biggest un-tapped markets in history.

FaceTime in 3G finally comes with iOS 5

The most observant of you surely remember the words of Steve Jobs when, about a year ago, presented FaceTime, the new service from Apple that make video calls from the device IOS, at first only fourth-generation iPhone. With a little ‘amazement, it turned out, indeed it was the same Steve Jobs to announce that FaceTime would have been a feature WiFi only “throughout 2010. At the end of the fifth month of 2011, one wonders if the new iOS 5 things will change.

Certainly almost no one expected that FaceTime also on the 3G network could be introduced without a major upgrade of IOS, which could then update to match its new5.0 firmware that Apple will be presented June 6 on the stage of the Moscone Center during the Keynote d ‘ opening of the WWDC 2011.

Could FaceTime on 3G as one of five new IOS? Very likely. Technically, Apple could implement this function from the beginning. Steve Jobs ranked as the 110th richest person with $8.3 billion, Zuckerberg gets the 52nd

Apple‘s CEO Steve Jobs is ranked as the world’s 110th richest person with net worth of $8.3 billion according to Forbes annual list. Last year, Jobs’ net worth was up from $5.5 billion and 136th place so I think he made a great milestone in one year.



It’d be interesting if we take a look at Facebook‘s Mark Zuckerberg wealth which is with net worth of $13.5 billion. Zuckerberg is ranked as the 52nd richest person in the world.

iOS 4.3 beta 2 released to developers

iAd – The ‘Next Big Thing’ for Steve Jobs and Apple?

Rumor has it that Apple is gearing up to announce its “Next big thing” – a new personalized, mobile advertising system that could well be dubbed as the “iAd”. The buzz is building coincidently, or may be by design, towards the iPad shipment date, which is April 3rd. According to some executives familiar with the plan, Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs has described the new ad platform as “revolutionary” and “our next big thing”. The sources also informed that it will be officially unveiled at Madison Avenue on April 7th – exactly four days after iPad ships.

Microsoft Bing to Replace Google Search in iPhone OS 4

According to the sources at TechCrunch, the next version of iPhone OS, which is set to release this June will have Bing as its default search engine in Mobile Safari. Microsoft and Apple have reportedly been in talks over a possible search deal since January of this year, but since then there has been no real news on this.

New iPhone to land in US on 7 June

June 7 is now a near-certainty to be the launch date for the latest iPhone, with Apple CEO Steve Jobs kicking off the firm’s Worldwide Developers’ Conference on that day (and with US retailer Wal-Mart halving the prices of the current iPhone 3GS in readiness). That would suggest that the new handset would hit the shelves in early July.
